GENERAL DESCRIPTION
PLiOGRIP EPOXY RESIN PER-526 is an unmodified solvent free liquid resin that can be used with PLiOGRIP HARDENER PH 972, an aromatic polyamine, for making fibre reinforced plastic composites. Although it can induce cure to the "B-stage" at room temperature, it requires elevated temperature for full cure to the "C-stage". it can be used for match diemoulding, laminating by the prepreg technique and pultrusion. Laminates made with this hardener can be subjected to operating temperature of 165°C. They also process good dielectrical properties.

Solvents like methyl ethyl ketone / acetone are added to the extent required in order to obtain a viscosity suitable for impregnation of glass fabric.
"B-STAGE" CURE
The solvents like methyl ethyl ketone / acetone are added to the desired extent so as to obtain the viscosity suitable for impregnation of glass fabric. The impregnated cloth is passed through a heating zone of a conveyor oven where it is precured for 15 minutes @100°C. The prep reg thus obtained will be dry-to-touch.
